KZN welcomes first flight between Dubai and Durban

Local government officials say they're very pleased that airline, Emirates, has resumed flights to King Shaka International Airport.
Concerns and confusion over the country's latest travel regulations led to Sunday's cancellation of flights.
The Level 1 rules for passengers apply to cabin crew members as well.
Fliers are required to present a negative coronavirus test taken less than 72 hours prior to departure.

KwaZulu-Natal welcomed the first Emirates flight from Dubai on Thursday afternoon.
KZN Economic Development's Ndabezinhle Sibiya said: "The MEC was at the airport to welcome the Qatar Airways flight.
"She was encouraged by the speed at which the national government was moving to resolve issues that resulted in the cancellation of the Emirates flights."
