Some universities in KZN say catch-up programmes are going well and believe students are ready to sit for their exams.
Institutions of higher learning whose academic programmes were affected by Fees Must Fall protests have had to devise lesson catch-up plans to make sure the academic year is saved.
University of KwaZulu-Natal spokesperson, Lesiba Seshoka says their programme is going well so far.
"The recovery plan that was put in place was meant to go on until November 25. The students would be given a further week for them to self-study. Thereafter, exams will then begin," he said.
