KwaZulu-Natal Traffic officials are warning motorists to
exercise patience and caution, as thousands of travellers continue to descend
on the province for the Easter long weekend.

They say they expect major highways like the N3 and N2 to continue seeing higher traffic volumes.
Almost a thousand vehicles an hour were recorded coming into KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday.
Officials said this would likely continue on Friday morning.
