KZN senior advocate, Kemp J Kemp succumbs to COVID-19

Durban-based lawyer, Advocate Kemp J Kemp has died after contracting COVID-19
He has been hailed as a brilliant legal mind.
Kemp, who was a member of the KZN Bar, successfully defended former President Zuma in his 2006 rape trial.
He was a member of the KZN Bar.

Cape Town-based advocate and member of the Law Society of South Africa, John Smith, says his death is a huge loss for the law fraternity, "I'm shocked and terribly distressed, it's an absolute mass loss to the legal profession."
"I met him during university and he was a junior lecturer and then I appeared against him in two matters over the years. I had the utmost respect for him, he had a brilliant mind and was a confident advocate."
