Struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has endorsed the ANC in Gauteng, saying she's confident of the ruling party's victory in the Local Government Election on 3 August.
Struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has joined the growing list of veterans actively campaigning for the party.
The ANC on Tuesday paid a visit to Madikizela-Mandela at her home in Soweto.
She joined several party veterans such as Ahmed Kathrada, Tlou Tsholo, Essop Pahad and Kgalema Motlanthe who have urged the public to ensure a decisive victory for the ANC.
"These are very difficult times for the African National Congress. I am actually here to tell my people, South Africa, to do the right thing and vote the revolutionary movement - the ANC," she said.
She told the media that she was concerned over the political killings in KwaZulu-Natal.
