KZN Education urged to reverse CFO appointment
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Political parties are outraged by the appointment of KwaZulu-Natal Education's new Chief Financial Officer.

Yali Joli previously served as the Cooperative Governance CFO, but resigned while being investigated for alleged financial misconduct.
The Democratic Alliance in KZN says her resignation prevented the disciplinary process from being finalised and left her unable to account for the allegations.
The party has given Education MEC Sipho Hlomuka four days to reverse the appointment.
The EFF’s provincial spokesperson, Chris Msibi, says they are demanding her immediate removal.
"This department is in financial crisis as we speak. If you appoint such a person who has a cloud hanging over her head, then you are actually undermining the effort of reviving this department financially and otherwise.
"We are calling upon the premier and MEC for Education to reverse their decision immediately so that this department finds a proper CFO."
