KwaZulu-Natal authorities say investigations are continuing
after a foetus was found in a FlySafair airplane on Friday.
Technicians had been preparing the waste management system for the departure of the flight from Durban to Johannesburg when the discovery was made.
The airline said the relevant authorities were notified immediately after the discovery.
Officers from the SAPS and Durban Metro Police Search and
Rescue Unit were called to the scene and worked for over an hour to remove the
foetus from the system.
