Updated | By Sibahle Motha
The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation says doctors have seen significant improvement in the struggle stalwart's health.
The foundation's Director Neeshan Balton says Kathrada is still in a stable condition and "had a restful night".
"He is slowly moving out of his state of sedation. There is still no sign when he will come out, but we are taking his recovery on a daily basis," says Balton.
Kathrada (87) has now been in hospital for two weeks after he underwent an operation to remove a clot on his brain.
