Joshlin Smith: ‘I just want to hug you again’
Updated | By Lauren Hendricks
A court in the Western Cape will hand down its sentence in the Joshlin Smith case on Thursday.

A woman, who wanted to adopt the child, told the high court this week that all she wanted was to hear little Joslin's voice one more time.
The then-six-year-old disappeared from her Saldahna Bay home in February last year.
Her mother, Kelly Smith, Jacquen Appollis, and Steveno van Rhyn were found guilty on charges of kidnapping and human trafficking.
Sentencing proceedings began in court this week.
In aggravation of sentence, an emotional victim impact statement penned by the woman who had hoped to adopt the child was presented.
Natasha Andrews's submission was read by an interpreter who broke down in tears.
" We just want to hug you again, to hear your voice. Joslin, you are our flower, our baby daughter, our green-eye child. Watching and listening to your photos, voice notes, and videos keeps us motivated."
