Jayden-Lee's mother provides KZN address in bail bid
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The State has argued that Tiffany Meek provided an alternative bail address in KwaZulu-Natal to weaken its assertion that she faces danger if released into society.

Meek has told the Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on Monday that she can afford R5,000 bail, and would be able to move in with her father in KZN if required to leave the Fleurhof community she calls home.
The 31-year-old mother was arrested earlier this month on charges of killing her Jayden-Lee in May.
Meek wept and shook her head as she listened to the state prosecutor's closing arguments.
" She very well knows, Your Worship, if she's released, she stands a very good chance of being harmed. If she gives an address nearby, it can be safely stated that the last images of her alive, Your Worship, will be the one taken by the village," the State prosecutor said.

The bail judgment will be delivered on Tuesday.
Jayden-Lee died from blunt force trauma to the head. His body was found meters away from the flat he shared with his mother in Fleurhoff, west of Johannesburg.
The State has opposed her release on bail, arguing that she is a flight risk and will be in danger due to public anger.
However, Meek argues that she has been framed.
