Jacob Zuma Foundation to release more details on former president

The Jacob Zuma Foundation says a National Welcome Prayer will be held for former president Jacob Zuma in the Durban area next week.

The foundation's spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi says more details on the prayer and an update on the former president will be released in a media briefing on Friday in Sandton.
Zuma had been in hospital in Gauteng since he was granted medical parole after he served a fraction of a 15-month prison sentence.
Manyi says the purpose of Friday's briefing is to let everyone know what will unfold next week.
"Everyone is welcome to attend the event. We did issue something to say people must admit names and so on, that was just for the leaders of the various sectors.
"This is a heros welcome so we want everybody to feel at home. The actual venue will be in KZN, which will not be in Nkandla. It will be in the Durban area or somewhere."
