Isipingo crash involving truck, minibus leaves 7 dead
Seven people have been killed in a crash on the M35 road in the Isipingo area, south of Durban.
It's understood a truck, a minibus taxi and a car were involved in a crash on Saturday night.
"Tragically seven people have sustained fatal injuries in this crash. At this stage, there aren't any survivors known from this crash," says KZN's EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie.
McKenzie says details leading to the crash are unclear at this stage.
"The crash involved a truck which was carrying a container and a minibus. The truck came to rest down an embankment after the crash. The exact circumstances resulting in the rash are not known at this stage and will be investigated by the police."
