Initiation schools can help end gender-based violence says Zulu king

The Zulu king believes initiation schools are an ideal place to continue teaching young men about gender-based violence.

On Sunday, king Goodwill Zwelithini welcomed over 280 young men from across KwaZulu-Natal who participated in the 2019/2020 initiation programme.
Six initiation schools were part of the programme in the greater Kokstad southern KZN region.
One of the initiates, 26-year-old Vuyolwethu Tubane says he returned home a lot more aware of the crisis facing our country.
