Howick teen attacked by dogs hospitalised
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
A Midlands teenager is receiving treatment in hospital after he was mauled by two pitbulls in Howick yesterday morning.

Midlands EMS spokesperson, Derrick Banks says paramedics had to use advanced life support intervention to treat the boy before taking him to hospital.
"It is believed that the boy was walking with his brother and another family friend when the dogs came out of the yard, chased them and caught him and bit him multiple times. The child was lucky enough to be helped by a motorist passing by who chased the dogs away."
Banks says the SPCA were then called to the area to assist.
