Higginson Highway shooting: Family demands justice
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
A Durban
family whose son was gunned down in Chatsworth believes that he was the victim
of a road rage incident.

Police say that Branden Govender was driving on the M1 Higginson Highway yesterday when a motorist opened fire on him near the Crossmoor off-ramp.
In addition to the murder charge, they are investigating two cases of attempted murder, as Govender's colleagues were wounded.
A family member says they are still trying to piece together what happened. He says all they want is justice for Branden.
"He was a very bubbly person. So many emotions are running at the moment. The family is devastated, losing the youngest member of the family. There have not been any leads yet that could lead us to those who were involved in the shooting. If we do wrong, we must face the might of the law. That is what everyone wants."
