Hawks take over investigation of Zuma walking out of State Capture Commission
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The investigation
into former President Jacob Zuma walking out of
the State Capture Commission, has been transferred to the
Hawks.
Zuma stunned the Commission and Chairperson Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, when he walked out of the public hearing in November after Zondo had dismissed the application by Zuma to recuse himself as the Chairperson.
Hawks spokesperson Captain Philani Nkwalase says the case was registered at the Hillbrow Police station.

“What we can confirm is that there was a case opened at the Hillbrow Police station regarding the Commission’s Act and that matter was then transferred to the Hawks for further investigation.”
The Commission has also brought an application in the Constitutional Court to force Zuma to adhere to the summons issued against him, return and complete his testimony.
The case was heard at the end of December and judgment was reserved.
