Hawks set to probe KZN police murders

Police Minister, Bheki Cele believes police are under siege in KZN.
His ministry says the Hawks have been brought in to investigate the killing of four cops in as many days in the past week.
The latest murder happened on Sunday when Constable Mbuso Nzimela was assaulted and stabbed to death in Esikhaleni.
The night before, Sergeant Makhosaze Mdlangathi and Sergeant Mfikelwo Mtolo were ambushed by gunmen and killed in Taylors Halt, near Pietermaritzburg.

They were stationed at the Plessislaer and Richmond Police Stations respectively.
The motives for the two attacks are unknown.
Last week Thursday, Constable Royal Ndlovu was shot in the chest when he responded to a domestic dispute in Chatsworth. He died on the scene.
Minister Cele says anyone with information that can assist in the investigations should come forward.
