Hawks launch investigation into alleged fraud at provincial education dept

The Hawks says more arrests are imminent at the KZN Education Department.
This, after a 24-year old woman was arrested for fraud.
The Hawks say she is accused of having sold state vehicles which were meant for to go on auction.

The provincial education department's Sihle Mlotshwa says they have launched their own investigations.
"We are conducting our own investigations. We do know now given the progress of our investigation she's not the only one who's been involved in this. And there's investigations going on, and we know that you are going to be able to know how many have been doing this, and we are going to deal with them accordingly," he said.
The official is due in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
