Gift of the Givers lends aid to SANDF fire victims
KZN-based organisation Gift of the Givers have stepped in to assist over 1 300 military personnel who've lost all their belongings in a fatal veld fire in the Northern Cape.
The fire which swept across a SANDF Combat Training Centrein Lohatla on Friday claimed the lives of six soldiers.
Three other SANDF members were left injured.

Equipment including vehicles were also lost.
"We received a call requesting urgent assistance. The request included hygiene packs underwear, energy packs and food," says the organisation's founder, Imtiaz Sooliman.
