Updated | By Lauren Hendricks
President Cyril Ramaphosa said while the state is significantly increasing its capital
investment in infrastructure, it is clear that the government can't fund the work alone.

"That is why you are here, and that is why we want to mobilise all available capital, both domestic and international, towards this incredible infrastructure boom that is [beckoning]," said Ramaphosa.
Ramaphosa spoke at the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa in Cape Town on Tuesday.
It also marked the launch of the next version of the Construction Book, which includes over 250 projects exceeding R238 billion.

Addressing the private sector, he urged business leaders to speak up when unhappy about reforms and regulations.
"So, you come forward and say, these aren’t working, rather than go and form complain groups and trade unions where you go and protest because some regulation is not working, please don't do that. Come forward," the president said.
