With the final voter registration weekend done and dusted ahead of this year's national and provincial elections, political parties in KwaZulu-Natal say they'll be going door to door in parts of the province, canvassing for votes.
They have been speaking to Newswatch about some of their plans.
"As the ANC, we will continue to have programmes that are targeting young people as we always have," The ANC's Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu said.
The EFF's Vusi Khoza says they are targeting young voters, voting for the first time.
The NFP's Sabelo Sigudu says his party wants more young MPs.
"Young people must give other young people a chance to also be represented in Parliament."
Narend Singh from the IFP says the youth need to be part of the democratic process.
"We will be going around to tertiary institutions and even schools where there are learners over the ages of 18 years - encouraging them to go and put their crosses," Singh said.
The DA says those who registered to vote are exercising their rights to take part in elections.
