Four taken in for questioning over KZN chief's murder
The Hawks in KZN hope the taking in for questioning of four men yesterday leads to a breakthrough in solving the murder of chief Linda Mathonsi.
Earlier this month, Mathonsi had been driving with his daughter in Mandeni when they were attacked. His daughter survived the attack.
Spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi says processes from here on will be followed thoroughly in hopes of connecting the suspects to the case.
"We managed to seize a firearm that has been sent for ballistics testing. It's a good arrest in terms of the investigation and we are hoping that we will be able to gather more information on these four suspects hence we will be making sure that we do a proper profile on them," he said.
