Four suspects killed in Durban shootout

Four wanted suspects have been killed in a
shootout with police in Durban.
The KZN SAPS says the provincial stabilisation team received intelligence about the gang's hideout in Cato Manor.
They were cornered yesterday evening at a room they had been renting.
Police say the suspects shot at officers when they announced their presence.

The SAPS team fired back, shooting dead all four.
One police officer was hit - but is said to have been saved by his bulletproof vest.
According to authorities, the gang from Inanda had been wanted for various crimes, including last Saturday's murder of a 27-year-old man in Cato Crest.
