Captured off the coast of Kusadasi in Turkey an 18-month-old toddler was among 15 people rescued after a boat carrying migrants capsized in the Aegean Sea.
Refugees continue to seek asylum in Greece, Germany and Sweden after ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
The video footage shows a fisherman pull the toddler that is wrapped in a life jacket out of the water and tries to resuscitate him.
"Brother he is alive, he is alive. Brother, he is alive!" one of the men in the boat shout in Turkish.
"My God he is alive," he says.
According to the Telegraph, the baby and his mother were rescued and treated in hospital.
This comes as a photo of the body of small boy that washed up on a beach Turkey went viral last month.
