Twenty-year-old Thandazile Mpunzi was found dead in Manguzi near Kosi Bay last August after having been missing for more than a week.

Two of the four suspects, Mandla Mabuza and Lindokuhle Khumalo, were last year sentenced to 20 years imprisonment each after pleading guilty to their involvement in the murder.

The third suspect who is a minor is serving 18 years in jail.

But the trial of 65-year-old traditional healer, Bhekukufa Gumede is still ongoing in the Mtubatuba High Court.

Mpunzi's father, Sam Msweli says it's been a difficult time for the family.

"Our hearts are aching - we have to keep going to court again and again and reliving it all. That's what brings back painful memories. Why is the court not arriving at a decision and sentencing this man so we can move past this," he said.
