eThekwini ratepayers want heads to roll after CIIU break-in
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
A ratepayer’s
association is calling for heads to roll after a break-in at eThekwini
Municipality's Integrity and Investigation Unit.

It's the office tasked with probing fraud and corruption cases.
In a statement on Tuesday, the city said police are investigating the invasion which took place at the weekend.
The municipality said the motive behind the incident is unknown.
Ish Praladh, who's with the eThekwini Ratepayers and Residents Association, says the city should disclose if any files have gone missing.
"How can somebody break into a place that is so important. There are thousands of fraudulent cases and corruption cases in those offices. it's ratepayers’ money that has been stolen. Security there should be airtight."
