eThekwini prepared for holidaymakers

Ethekwini says it's ready to host more than 1.4-million tourists during the festive season.
Officials expect direct economic spend for the season to be around R3.1-billion.
Mayor James Nxumalo is urging visitors to Durban to take advantage of the city's scenic views and world class entertainment and recreational facilities but to do so responsibly.
90 000 wristbands have been procured for the high number of visitors to the beaches.
A spokesperson says all children on the beachfront will be required to wear a wristband containing their guardians' details.
40 childminders have been employed to look after children separated from their guardians until they have been reunited.
An additional 113 seasonal lifeguards have also been deployed at various beaches.
All swimming beaches will be operational between 6am and 6pm. Ethekwini says law enforcement officers will be out in full force.
