eThekwini opens some landfill sites to drop off waste
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
eThekwini Municipality has reopened several landfill sites across the city.

The sites have been closed since the start of the municipal workers’ strike, leading to uncollected waste piling up on the city’s streets.
Residents will now be able to make use of sites closest to their homes to drop off their domestic waste.
The city says residents will not be charged and will be able to bring a bakkie load of waste until normal collection resumes.
