eThekwini to blame for Go! Durban failure, says DA
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Democratic Alliance in KZN has called on the eThekwini Municipality to repair what the party calls the deteriorating infrastructure in the city.
This comes after DA provincial leader Francois Rodgers conducted an oversight visit to various sites around the city - including a Go! Durban station, which has been delayed for several years now.
He says the ANC and the municipality should carry the blame for failing to deliver.

"I must say at the onset that the infrastructure is quite impressive. It is really first-world. The biggest concern is that this project is already seven years delayed, and there seems to be absolutely no agreement between the taxi associations and the Go-Durban project.
"So it is a concern, and it is a concern where answers are not given, and you wonder why senior politicians in the African National Congress in eThekwini and on a national and provincial basis are not getting engaged and trying to assist and get this project going."
