Eskom reaches out to police to thwart cable theft in KZN Midlands

Eskom in KZN says it'll be seeking police intervention to help deal with the rise of cable theft in Richmond, in the Midlands.

The power utility says it can't allow further damage to infrastructure.

Spokesperson, Joyce Zingoni says this is badly affecting the community.
"Besides liaising with police and the community leaders, there is nothing much we can do. From the information we have, they say the first three weeks its been like this three times a week."
