Eskom has just over one month's coal stockpiles

Interim Eskom CEO, Phakamani Hadebe has confirmed that Eskom has just over a month's worth of coal stockpiles.
He was speaking at a press briefing at the power utility's Megawatt Park Headquarters in Johannesburg.
Hadebe says the situation is still better than the 2008 electricity crisis.
"So how many days of the stockpile do we have? We have 35 days. Against the 2008 year before the challenges we were facing, we had the stockpile only for 12 days. If we include Medupi and Kusile, the stockpile increases to 65 days," he said.
Hadebe has admitted there are coal supply problems, but says there is a recovery plan.
