EFF takes national health campaign to public hospitals
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
The EFF in Durban will take its public health campaign to the city's Addington Hospital today.
The party's Lwanele Tshwane says they want to see a number of improvements at the facility.
"There's a shortage of nurses within the hospital. They don't want to employ people who studied privately. We want hygiene conditions before it becomes a crisis. We want the oncology department sorted because there's this backlog," Tshwane says.
The party will picket outside the hospital on the Durban beachfront before handing over a memorandum to management.
