Durban strike action causes delays on N3, N2

Protest action on the N3 and N2 freeways in KwaZulu-Natal has caused severe delays in the vicinity of several toll plazas.
Authorities say only one lane is open in both directions, that is heading towards and away from Durban.

Strike action at the Tongaat toll also saw slow moving traffic on the N2, north of Durban. However, authorities have managed to clear the roadway there.

It is not yet clear what the protestors are unhappy about.
