Rock-throwing suspect to appear in Durban court

A man suspected to be involved in rock-throwing incidents in Durban is heading to court this morning.

The man was arrested after construction workers saw a man hurling rocks from the city's Tollgate Bridge onto vehicles on the N3 at the weekend.
Durban Metro Police spokesperson, Parbhoo Sewpersadh says the construction workers saw him throwing rocks in two separate instances.
In one instance a rock his a bakkie. In the second, a car was hit.

"He was taken to Mayville SAPS and questioned," said Sewpersadh.
Sewpersadh says the suspect could also be linked to other rock-throwing incidents in the area.
