Accused of human trafficking, the Nigerian pastor was taken into custody in a dramatic arrest at Port Elizabeth Airport yesterday.

The popular televangelist allegedly molested congregants, some as young as 14.

He was sought after an expose by the SABC's Special Assignment.

Pamella Mabini says she tried various channels to expose the man before contacting the show.

"I tried to get help from the municipality and the mayor but that failed as well. Even though we were trying to mobilise with the girls, they were scared to come out. They were already getting calls from church members threatening them about what is happening on this issue," she said.

Lolo Saliso says they are hopeful the justice system will not fail them.

"It's been happening for too long. Can it be about us, can the justice system not disappoint anymore? This is happening in churches and in the streets - wherever we go. It's enough," she said.

The Hawks say more charges could be added as their investigation continues.
