Durban mother hits R39m Lotto jackpot
A Lotto jackpot winner from Durban, whose bank account has ballooned by over R39 million, says she'll invest a portion of her winnings in her children's future.
Ithuba National Lottery says the woman, who paid R10 to play via the quick-pick selection on her banking app, says she plans to travel as well.
She says she's a regular Lotto and PowerBall player and spends around R20 a month on tickets.
The Durban mother says she and her family are extremely grateful for this life-changing win.
"We are a family from Durban, as a regular Lotto and PowerBall player, this is my first time winning such a significant amount, we are extremely grateful and excited," she said.
