Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
A worker has died after falling from scaffolding at a construction site in Umhlanga, north of Durban.
Emergency services say the man suffered multiple injuries.
Netcare911's Nick Dollman says the events leading up to the incident are still unknown at this stage.
"Paramedics responded to reports that a man had fallen several floors from scaffolding. Upon our arrival at the scene medics attended to a 27-year-old man who had sustained multiple injuries. Advanced life support resuscitation was initiated. Tragically the victim's injuries were too severe and he passed away at the scene," he said.
