Two people who admitted leaking the 2020 matric Maths exam have been sentenced in Gauteng.

Photos of the paper 2 exam were circulated on WhatsApp, with learners in Limpopo and Gauteng receiving it before the exam in November.
The paper had to be rewritten nationally several weeks later.
Themba Shikwambana, an employee at the Johannesburg printing company responsible for exam materials, was arrested in Orange Farm just over a week after the leak.
His accomplice Thobile Duze was nabbed in Port Shepstone seven months later.
