Drugs found in Hammarsdale home following mass murder

Investigators have found whoonga at the house where six people were shot and killed in Hammarsdale, West of Durban.
Six people, believed to be members of the same family, were found dead yesterday morning.
According to police, the assailants arrived at the home on Friday night and opened fire on the residents in the house.
A seventh person survived the massacre and is in a serious condition in hospital.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says one of the victims had a pending case, related to drug possession.
"The drugs were found at the crime scene. The provincial task team is busy investigating those circumstances and investigating the shooting further," she said.
