Driver of truck involved in fatal Jozini crash set to apply for bail

The driver – who lost control of his truck – that led to a multi-vehicle collision in the Jozini CBD, in northern KwaZulu-Natal, is due to apply for bail on Friday.

Eight people were killed in last Wednesday’s smash.
Sipho Ntuli, 43, is facing charges of drunken driving and culpable homicide.

His trucked ploughed into two buses, a minibus taxi, one bakkie, pedestrians and a car.
Paramedics treated 32 other people for moderate to critical injuries.
Ntuli briefly appeared in the Ubombo Magistrates Court last week.
