The Department of International Relations says officials will escort a group of 22 South Africans making their way home from Sudan.
The evacuees, who were struck on a boat in Egypt, have been cleared to board a flight from Cairo.
They were hired by a company to work on a project in Sudan when the violence broke out in mid-April.
