Two weeks ago, Ramaphosa confirmed that the report had been delivered to his office.

The report looks into the controversial R150 million tender awarded to the communications company said to be linked to Health Minister Zweli Mkhize, who has since been placed on special leave.

The forensic probe found that the awarding of the tender was irregular and inflated amounts were invoiced for communication services rendered when Covid-19 first hit the country.

The DA's Siviwe Gwarube said: "The Democratic Alliance has submitted a PAIA (Promotion of Access to Information Act) application to the presidency to obtain access to the SIU report.

"The portfolio needs a stable hand that will be taking the country through this critical phase of vaccinations.

"The fact is the president is reluctant to make difficult and ethical decisions, and his inactions are now costing us.

"He also needs to us on how he intends on holding accountable those who have been implicated in the scandal.
