DA Federal Council to address media on state of readiness for upcoming elections.
The DA's Federal Council is expected to brief the media on its readiness for the upcoming local government elections.
The party's leadership will also discuss the outcome of a sitting of the Federal Council yesterday and issues of violent protests.
The DA's Samkelo Mgobozi says the party's leader, Mmusi Maimane, and national spokesperson, Phumzile van Damme, will be among those present.
"The DA will also be conducting a sneak preview of the party's next election advert scheduled to be rolled out to the media tomorrow," Mgobozi said.
"Unfortunately due to other pressing events James Selfe will not be present, but Athol Trollip, the Federal Chairperson of the Democratic Alliance will be present at the press conference," he said.
Meanwhile, the EFF will gather in Newcastle today to mark the 51st anniversary of the Freedom Charter.
