DA demands action as Ndlovu murder case stalls

The DA in KZN has called for a speedy conclusion in the murder case of its slain Umngeni Chief Whip Nhlalayenza Ndlovu.

The alleged mastermind behind is murder appeared in the Howick Magistrates Court yesterday.
Induna Zwelithini Buthelezi and his co-accused Thobani Masobho Hlongwa face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The matter was postponed to July.

KZN DA leader Francois Rodgers says they're concerned about the pace of proceedings.
"This on the back of a specialized forensic unit that the Democratic Alliance had appointed who have evidence, in this particular case."
"SAPs remain oblivious to engaging with our forensic unit. And this is a grave concern and it seems to be delaying tactics," said Rodgers.
