Counselling for KwaMakhutha learners after fatal school stabbing incident
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Authorities say pupils of a KwaMakhutha school - where two schoolboys were stabbed to death on Monday - will receive counselling.
Another learner and a teacher were hurt in the altercation at Masakhaneni High School.
The KZN Education Department's Kwazi Mthethwa says it's suspected a fight that started elsewhere - was brought onto the school grounds.
He says they want to meet with parents, teachers and other members of the community to try and get to the bottom of the issue.

"These fights emanate from the community. We cannot therefore put them aside. We need to bring them on board - and have those kinds of discussions with the view of correcting, restitution - in an enabling environment to our pupils," Mthethwa said.
