Could it be you? Winning R167m Powerball ticket bought in Ballito
A lotto player is sitting with a multi-million winning ticket bought in Ballito, north of Durban.
The National Lottery's Lebogang Mokoena says they're looking for Friday's winner of the R167 million jackpot.
"The only information we have at the moment is the ticket was purchased in Ballito, KZN and we know that it was purchased with a R150 and that it was via the quick pick selection.
"So, at the moment, we only just sent out a press release - urging players to look at their tickets and match them against Friday night's draw."
Operator Ithuba says it's the second-highest jackpot for the national lottery behind the over 230 million Powerball jackpot in 2019.
It says it's looking forward to welcoming the latest winner into the millionaire circle.
Another lotto player has won the second division pay-out standing at over R914 000.
Ithuba says this is the second-highest ever single win for this division.
