Controversial Doom prophet in court today
The Department of Health in Limpopo says they hope the so-called "doom" prophet, Lethebo Rabalago, faces the full might of the law.
Rabalago is appearing in the High Court in the province today, after the department was granted an interdict against him.

He is accused of spraying members of his congregation with household insecticide aerosol, Doom.
Department spokesperson, Derrick Kganyago, says Rabalago placed the lives of the members of his congregation at risk.
"The department was against him using the Doom on our fellow citizens - that's the reason why we had to interdict him. The case is continuing today. The interdict was simply for him to stop sing the spray on our people, because this poses health risks," he said.

In November last year, Rabalago said God decides which healing methods he uses in his church - adding that not one of his congregants had experienced negative side-effects.
