A relief fund to help victims of last month's severe storm has been set up.
The KZN government and the private sector came together to contribute towards the fund.
Co-operative Governance MEC, Nomusa Dube-Ncube spoke at the launch of the fund in Umhlanga today.
"From our side - we'll continue to coordinate, we'll continue to interact but we are saying it's not only about bank accounts but we want [officials] to respond whenever we have these disasters," she says.
