Church plans future after Inkosi Vela Shembe's death
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Shembe family and the Nazareth Baptist Church Council will meet today to discuss a way forward following the sudden death of the Church's leader, Inkosi Vela Shembe.

Shembe died at his Umtwalume home on the south coast in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The Church's Nkululeko Mthethwa says they will begin making funeral arrangements soon.
"Although this was unexpected, there was no sign that he was sick. His contribution was great and the god decided that it's time for him to go. Members are shocked and we are talking to them to say let us accept this situation," he says.
A Durban court ruled that Shembe was the rightful leader of the Nazareth Baptist Church last year.
This after former leader, Vimbeni Shembe died six year ago.
