Chatsworth home invasion suspect due in court
A suspect linked to a home invasion and attempted murder in Chatsworth is due to appear in court this week.
The incident happened on Fleetside Road in Silverglen over the weekend.
Police say the man was caught trying to escape with stolen goods, thanks to quick action by security officers on the scene.
KZN SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the suspect was arrested and now faces serious criminal charges.

" It is reported that two men broke into a house and one of them engaged in a shootout with the owner, and the owner was allegedly shot and injured. The suspect fled the scene with home appliances. However, one of them was apprehended by security officers."
Police are still looking for another suspect.
